Nationwide is seeking a Lead Engineer – Integration who will act as a technical specialist, task leader and people leader, guiding the creation and delivery of integration solutions aligned to engineering and architectural strategy.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs, quality expectations and service targets, while contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

As a Lead Engineer – Integration, you’ll be recognised as a technical specialist, task leader or people leader, supporting the creation and delivery of technical solutions aligned to engineering and architectural strategy. You’ll provide strong technical direction so decisions can be made with confidence and pace.

Working with engineers, architects, delivery teams and stakeholders, you’ll help ensure solutions meet business needs, quality expectations and service targets. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement, support incident resolution where needed, and help develop capability through coaching, knowledge sharing and clear technical guidance.

For this role, you’ll be based at your nearest regional office or hub. We value time spent together to connect with colleagues for collaboration so there will be a regular requirement to attend our Swindon site approximately once per month. If you are based at an office location, you’ll be expected to meet our hybrid working requirement of at least two days a week, or 40% of your working time if part-time, in the office.
