Senior Software Engineer – Commodity Trading – £100,000 – £120,000 + Excellent Benefits – .NET Core / Azure / React

Overview:

Our client, a leading tier one commodities company and an established startup, is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join their growing team. The role involves working on exciting greenfield projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Develop systems supporting the trading function, including a Risk System that connects to multiple exchanges, reads trades in real-time, calculates Risk/PnL, and displays information to traders.

Requirements:

• Strong SQL experience
• Front-end development experience in React, Vue, Angular, or similar
• Strong unit and integration testing experience
• Experience with defect reporting/tracking frameworks like JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Experience working in an agile environment with effective communication skills
• Knowledge of common design patterns
• Experience deploying/troubleshooting applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Willingness to work with Python and React, even if not experienced
• Experience in trading or finance domain
• Docker experience
• Experience deploying/troubleshooting applications in Microsoft Azure (SQL Azure, Web Apps, Service Bus)
• Websockets/SignalR experience
• Experience with FIX protocol
