Job summary

ECM Selection (Holdings) Limited is seeking experienced software developers to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering sensor and signal processing solutions for defence and national security applications. The role includes leading and mentoring engineers, with office-based work and flexible hours.

Applicants should have strong C/C++ experience, a numerate degree, and eligibility for UK DV clearance. Benefits include a competitive salary and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Commercial-grade experience developing and maintaining complex systems in C/C++.
• Strong numerate degree with 1st/2:1 and possible PhD.
• Strong communication skills for client work and mentoring.
• British citizenship and UK residency for at least 10 years.
• DSP or image processing expertise (advantage).
• Familiarity with web UI technologies and Linux systems (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor other engineers on varied projects.
• Develop sensor and signal processing software for defence and security.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams on in-house projects.
• Create user interfaces for specialised devices using web technologies.
• Work in a contemporary office with flexible working hours.
