ECM Selection (Holdings) Limited is seeking a senior consultant with strong C/C++ and Linux skills to work on national security projects from their Tewkesbury office.

You will engage across the project lifecycle with clients, enjoy autonomy in your work, and join a collaborative team. The role suits an experienced C++ developer from the defence sector seeking engaging work outside large‑company environments.

Qualifications

• 1st or 2.1 in numerate STEM; Master's or PhD would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills; confident discussing complex technical concepts with clients and colleagues and proficiency in authoring technical documentation.
• Software engineering in C or C++ and Linux; frontend development in TypeScript/JavaScript and HTML would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Lead project lifecycle with a high degree of client contact and autonomy over your work.
• Work as part of a supportive, collaborative team on defence sector projects.
• Develop software in C/C++ under Linux, contributing to national security applications.
