Job summary

ECM Selection (Holdings) Limited in Guildford is seeking experienced software developers to work on defence and security solutions, including sensor processing and web UI components. You will join a multi-disciplinary team delivering complex C/C++ software and related hardware-aligned projects.

Eligibility for UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is required; British citizens with 10 years UK residency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Commercial-grade experience developing and maintaining complex systems in C/C++.
• Strong academic background in a numerate discipline with a degree (1st/2:1) and possibly a PhD.
• Excellent communication for client work and mentoring team members.
• British citizenship and UK residency for at least 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor other engineers on varied projects.
• Develop algorithms and optimise software for constrained environments.
• Collaborate with hardware, cyber security and UI teams on integrated solutions.
• Create UIs for sensor and security products using web technologies.
