Job summary

Salt seeks a Software Engineering Specialist for fully onsite work across London, Manchester, Ipswich or Cheltenham to support government and national security programmes. You will develop and maintain bespoke software, collaborate with customers to solve technical challenges, and contribute to project delivery on complex systems.

This role requires current DV clearance or the ability to obtain it, and a willingness to be on-site full-time with occasional travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software engineering projects.
• Strong development experience in at least one of: Python, C++, Java, C#, C or Objective-C.
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical work.
• Current DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain DV clearance.
• Willingness to work full-time onsite, with occasional travel to customer locations.
