The Operations Solutions team delivers software solutions used throughout the manufacturing organization, targeting the industrialization and production management of HID products.

These solutions are deployed globally, at HID sites, and also at suppliers and contract manufacturer production sites.

As a senior member of the Process and Application Industrialization team, you will be responsible for the development, sustaining, and support activities related to Operations Solutions for our production lines.

Your activities will include developing and implementing the industrialization of hardware products, such as readers, and the industrialization of credential profiles.

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Developer, you will support HID’s success by:

1. Collaborating with engineering and technical support to implement industrial solutions leveraging the platform.
2. Participating in the full design, development, validation, and documentation cycles.
3. Identifying solutions that improve manufacturing processes.
4. Migrating legacy tools and processes to standardized platforms.
5. Maintaining security standards for the site and products.
6. Interacting with the local IT team to set up proper infrastructure.
7. Following department architecture and process guidelines.
8. Providing Level 2 & 3 support to the manufacturing team.
9. Meeting deadlines for software enhancements aligned with product schedules.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.
11. Travel up to 25%, including international travel, with valid passport required.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in software and solution development, preferably in industrial applications.
• Strong background in C# (minimum 3 years), .NET, ASP.NET, HTML, JSON, XML.
• Knowledge of electronic design and hardware is a plus.
• Familiarity with communication interfaces like JTAG, SWD, UART, SPI, I2C is a plus.
• Knowledge of cryptography and key management is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies is a plus.
• Understanding of RFID standards such as ISO7816, ISO14443, ISO15693 is a plus.
