Job summary

The Access Group is a leading UK-headquartered business management software provider, serving over 160,000 organisations across Europe, the USA and APAC with cloud-based solutions and AI capabilities.

We are seeking a senior technical expert to set product direction, govern architecture, mentor teams, and drive scalable, secure software delivery while championing responsible AI across the business.

Qualifications

Experience designing and building scalable SaaS platforms using modern cloud technologies (e.g. AWS or Azure).
Strong knowledge across backend, cloud, data, or frontend development.
Experience influencing technical decisions and mentoring engineers at senior levels.
Confidence working with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Set technical direction across multiple products, defining architecture and guiding teams to build scalable, resilient and secure solutions.
Solve complex engineering challenges and support teams during critical incidents, ensuring long-term improvements are put in place.
Drive engineering excellence by improving delivery practices, system reliability, and the way teams measure success.
Champion the use of AI in engineering and product development, ensuring it is used safely, effectively and delivers real value.
