Job summary

Aircall is hiring a Senior Software AI Engineer to join the Engineering Productivity (EngProd) team in London. You will accelerate AI adoption across the engineering organization by building practical, production-grade AI-powered tools that engineers rely on daily.

The role focuses on internal developer tooling, not customer-facing AI features, with ownership from design to real-world adoption. You will collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security to integrate AI into daily

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with recent focus on GenAI systems.
Strong experience building production-grade systems, not just prototypes.
Hands-on experience with prompting, retrieval, and context injection; AI-powered tooling and internal platforms.

Responsibilities

Take clear ownership of rapid AI adoption across the engineering organization.
Design and build practical, production-grade AI-powered developer tooling.
Work with internal data, codebases, and tooling to create context-aware AI assistants.
Collaborate across GitLab, Jira, CI/CD, Slack, and observability to streamline workflows.
Measure adoption and impact, delivering tangible time savings for engineers.
