Dudley Children's Services is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Social Worker to provide intensive, consistent support to a young person with complex needs, living in an unregistered provision awaiting a regulated placement.

The role involves daily welfare visits, building a trusted therapeutic relationship, coordinating education, health, CAMHS and placement planning, and leading risk management and safeguarding efforts to secure stability and progression for the young person.

Competenze

• Qualified and registered Social Worker with substantial post-qualifying experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and adversity.
• Experience with adolescents with complex needs and safeguarding.

Mansioni

• Undertake daily visits and direct work with the young person.
• Develop and maintain a trusted, therapeutic relationship.
• Lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning meetings involving education, health, CAMHS, police and placement providers.
• Coordinate effective risk management and safety planning.
• Drive forward care planning and permanence planning arrangements.
• Advocate relentlessly to secure an appropriate regulated placement meeting complex needs.
• Provide detailed analytical assessments and reports to support decision making.
• Work collaboratively with the young person's family and wider support network.
• Maintain oversight of the young person's emotional wellbeing, education, health and development.
