Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking two experienced social workers to join the Children in Care Team in Dudley. With Grade 9 or 10, you will manage cases and contribute to permanency planning for children in care.

You will support positive outcomes through relational and restorative practice, building strong relationships with children, families and partners, and you will benefit from a comprehensive learning and development package and supportive supervision.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with relevant degree and registration.
• 1 year post-qualifying experience required.
• ASYE completion preferred or required as stated.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services within the Children in Care Team.
• Manage case loads with appropriate workload management.
• Foster relational and restorative practice with children and families to achieve positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with care experienced young people and care teams to secure permanency plans.
