Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Birmingham. You will lead assessments, develop care plans, and supervise junior staff to ensure safeguarding best practices.

You will work with vulnerable children and families, coordinate with multi-agency partners, and keep accurate case records while contributing to service improvement and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with a BA/MA in Social Work.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Extensive safeguarding and child protection experience.
• Strong assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans with multi-agency partners.
• Provide supervision and support to junior social workers and trainees.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of casework and interventions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to safeguarding practice improvements.
