Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Hub. You will oversee the team, supervise social workers, and support with screening and triage of safeguarding referrals from partner agencies to assess S42 eligibility.

• Significant post-qualification safeguarding experience needed.
• Ability to lead staff and partners through safeguarding processes and outcomes.
• Experience triaging safeguarding referrals and translating risk into action.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Safeguarding Hub staff and supervise social workers and students as required.
• Ensure safeguarding processes comply with legislation, policies and RBWM guidance.
• Manage a caseload including complex assessments and casework.
• Chair meetings such as Adult Safeguarding and risk framework meetings.
• Provide case direction and guidance to wider social care staff with Safeguarding Manager.
