Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Hub on a full-time permanent basis with hybrid working.

Salary is £47,831–£52,414 per annum, plus an annual retention bonus of £3,000 subject to eligibility. The post requires a recognised social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England, with responsibility for supervising staff and overseeing safeguarding referrals.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with current registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in safeguarding adults and leadership of staff and partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Safeguarding Hub team and supervise staff.
• Screen and triage safeguarding referrals from partner agencies.
• Lead multi-agency meetings and develop protection plans.
• Monitor performance and ensure best practice in safeguarding.
• Provide guidance and case direction for wider social care staff.
