Job summary

Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Hub on a full-time, permanent basis with hybrid working. Salary £47,831 - £52,414 per year plus a £3,000 retention bonus if eligible.

The role involves supervising staff, triaging safeguarding referrals, managing complex caseloads, and leading meetings to protect adults at risk. A social work qualification with current Social Work England registration is required, and you will work with partners to

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Post-qualification safeguarding experience required.
• Ability to lead staff and partners through safeguarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safeguarding hub staff and supervise social workers and students as required.
• Manage a caseload including complex assessments and casework.
• Chair meetings such as Adult Safeguarding and Risk Frameworks.
• Provide guidance and case direction for wider social care staff in collaboration with the Safeguarding Manager.
