Job summary

Kent County Council is recruiting Senior Social Workers across Thanet in a permanent, full-time, hybrid-working model.

You will handle Care Act Assessments, MCA assessments, Court of Protection applications and safeguarding enquiries while collaborating with community teams to place individuals at the centre of their support. A flexible, forward-thinking approach is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Advanced Practitioner level of the Professional Capabilities Framework.
• Experience in managing risk and completing safeguarding enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Care Act Assessments and MCA Assessments; Court of Protection applications and s42 safeguarding enquiries.
• Provide supervision and development of staff; drive performance management.
• Collaborate with community teams to deliver person-centred care and flexible service delivery.
