Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting a Senior Social Worker to join the First Response Team in Leicestershire on a part-time rolling agency contract. The role focuses on responding to referrals, assessing risk, safeguarding children, and delivering statutory assessments for Children and Families.

The candidate should have a recognised Social Work qualification, SWE registration, and extensive experience in Children's Social Care, including First Response, MASH and referral and assessment work.

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Work qualification required.
• Current Social Work England (SWE) registration.
• Significant experience working within Children’s Social Care.
• Strong experience in First Response, MASH, Referral & Assessment, safeguarding, CIN or Child Protection.

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals and assess risk in the First Response Team.
• Undertake Children and Family Assessments and gather information from families and partners.
• Assess and manage safeguarding concerns and make professional recommendations.
• Conduct statutory social work assessments in line with local authority procedures.
• Collaborate with MASH, safeguarding, police, education, health and other agencies.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure statutory recording requirements are met.
