Job summary

Remedy Social Care requires a senior social worker for Cambridgeshire County Council's Family Help Team. The role covers assessment, safeguarding and court work, guiding children and families from initial contact through to longer-term intervention.

You will undertake child and family assessments, child protection work, section 47 enquiries, direct work with families, and collaborate with partner agencies. Experience across assessment, safeguarding and court proceedings is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong statutory children's social care experience.
• Experience with child protection and court work.
• Experience with assessments and risk planning.
• Ability to work with partner agencies.

Job description

Our client Cambridgeshire County Council is looking for a Family Help senior social worker to join their Family Help Team.

The Family Help Team works with children and families across a range of statutory social work interventions. The role will cover assessment, safeguarding and court work, supporting children and families from initial assessment through to longer-term intervention where required.

The role will include:

The team is looking for Senior Social Workers with strong statutory children's social care experience, ideally across assessment, safeguarding and court work. Experienced Social Workers will also be considered where they can demonstrate the relevant skills and experience.
