Job summary

Bracknell Forest Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker for the Children’s Specialist Safeguarding Team (CSST) in Bracknell. You will manage caseloads, deliver assessments, and lead on safeguarding with partner agencies, ensuring high-quality practice and advocacy for children.

The role requires strong knowledge of relevant legislation, excellent recording skills, and commitment to continuous professional development within a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Registered with Social Work England and have at least three years’ post-qualifying experience in Children’s Social Care.
• Experience with child protection, public law outline and care proceedings.
• Strong recording, assessment and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload with assessment, care planning and family support.
• Promote children’s views; ensure they are heard and recorded.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to meet needs within safeguarding policies.
• Maintain accurate case records and adhere to GDPR.
