mbi Medical Ltd is seeking a Social Worker to assess and identify client needs, integrate theory with practice, and manage a challenging caseload with complex decision-making. The role involves multi‑agency collaboration, safeguarding responsibilities, and contributing to care planning and reviews.

The successful candidate will provide expert testimony when required, supervise practice, and participate in ongoing professional development in line with HCPC standards.

Responsabilités

• Assess and identify needs; provide direct therapeutic work, care planning and management.
• Integrate a theoretical framework with practical social work.
• Manage caseloads with complex decision making; plan, evaluate and review cases.
• Engage with complex scenarios involving multi‑agency input, family dynamics and risks.
• Ensure appropriate care and innovative use of mainstream and specialist resources.
• Supervise service users receiving care services; undertake robust case reviews.
• Provide expert witness testimony and reports for court and legal orders.
• Partner with agencies to deliver social work services and represent the organisation.
• Maintain contact with statutory and voluntary professionals to influence planning outcomes.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary assessments, chair meetings, and promote information sharing.
• Mentor newly qualified social workers and offer placements as a practice educator.
• Self‑manage demanding workloads; conduct research and apply emerging best practice.
• Participate in training, develop new resources and work on specialist projects.
• Identify learning needs; pursue continuous professional development per HCPC standards.
