Qualifications

• Qualified SWE registered social worker.
• Experience working with children with disabilities.
• Ability to manage caseloads of 16–18 children.
• Experience preparing reports and attending family court proceedings.
• Knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and safeguarding procedures.

Responsabilités

• Carry out duties of the Children with Disabilities team as per relevant legislation.
• Investigate neglect, ill-treatment or abuse cases and initiate protection procedures as required.
• Supervise children subject of a Child Protection Plan.
• Assess and supervise looked-after children to meet statutory duties.
• Prepare reports and statements for family proceedings and attend court.
• Design and implement care and protection plans while maintaining high professional standards.
