We've recently launched our new LiquidLogic system, which is helping to strengthen our practice. Our teams are well supported by Family Support Workers and Business Support Officers, so our social workers can focus on what matters most - working with children and families.
We're currently looking for Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to join the following frontline teams:
Support and Safeguarding
Our Support and Safeguarding team works with children and families where ongoing statutory involvement is required. The team supports children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection Plans, and those in the Public Law Outline (PLO) process. The role here involves delivering high-quality, relationship-based social work, building trust with families, and helping children remain safe and thrive in their home environment wherever possible.
Children and Young People with Disabilities Service (CYPDS)
The CYPDS team provides statutory support for children and young people aged 0-25 with complex disabilities and additional needs. The team adopts a holistic and strengths-based approach, working in partnership with families, health professionals, education, and voluntary sector services. It's a rewarding area of practice, ensuring children and young people with disabilities have the same opportunities to live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
Duty and Assessment (D&A)
Our fast-paced Duty and Assessment team is the first point of contact for referrals into children's services. The team is responsible for completing high-quality assessments, making timely and effective decisions about next steps for children and families. Social workers in this team need strong assessment skills, a confident grasp of thresholds, and the ability to work collaboratively to identify the right support at the right time.
