Job summary

Connect 2 Staff is supporting Hartlepool Borough Council in recruiting a Senior Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Assessment and Support team. Connect2socialwork are supporting Hartlepool Broough Council who are looking for a senior social worker to join their Safeguarding Assessment and Support team.

Children's & Joint Commissioning Services have vacancies within the Safeguarding, Assessment and Support Unit to work with children and families. The team provides a comprehensive social work service from the point of single assessment through to work on a long term basis. The team support children in need, including those in need of protection by assessing need, creating packages of support and managing risk.

Requirements as a Social Worker include:

• SWE Registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Drive and have access to a car
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
