About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a client based in Teesside. They are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CIC) team, working with children and young people in their care. This role is ideal for those seeking a new challenge and looking to advance their career.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience with Safeguarding, Children Looked After, Adoption, and supporting children through transition including reunification plans.
  • Undertaking statutory home visits within required timescales with excellent recording and time management skills.
  • Engaging in direct work with children and maintaining good knowledge of Child Looked After processes.
  • Preparing reports and attending Child Looked After reviews, holding monthly Care Team meetings, and recording them promptly.
  • Attending strategy and stability meetings with confidence.
