Position: Full Time, Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two full-time, permanent social workers or senior social workers to join the Through Care Service.
Note: You require a social work qualification to apply for this role.
The service supports children and young people aged 0-25 and their families, throughout their journey in care and as care leavers. It comprises two services: a post-16 service supporting children entering care at 16-17, unaccompanied children, and care leavers; and a service for children in care up to 18. The team includes a manager, up to six social workers, two family support workers, and an administrator.
Based at B Bond in an open-plan office overlooking the river and Ashton Court, we are committed to achieving the best outcomes for children. Our last Ofsted inspection rated us 'GOOD' for both children in care and care leaver services.
We support career progression and encourage involvement in projects. Our practice is underpinned by signs of safety, systemic, and reflective approaches.
We recognize the child's whole network in building security and safety, supporting and maintaining this network with a view to reunification when safe. We are creative and committed to meeting individual needs.
