  2. Conduct assessments, care planning, and statutory visits to promote stability and positive outcomes.
  3. Work directly with children, young people, families, and foster carers to build strong relationships and advocate for their needs.
  4. Attend LAC reviews, court hearings, and multi-agency meetings to contribute to care planning and decision-making.
  5. Provide mentorship and support to less experienced social workers within the team.
  6. Ensure all work is completed in line with legislation, policies, and best practice guidelines.
Requirements
  1. A Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
  2. Extensive post-qualifying experience in children’s services, particularly in Children in Care or Looked After Children teams.
  3. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (Children Act 1989/2004, Care Planning Regulations, etc.).
  4. Experience in court proceedings and the ability to write clear, evidence-based reports.
  5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
  6. A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Why Join Us?
  1. Hybrid Working – A mix of home and office-based work.
  2. Supportive Team Environment – Work within a collaborative and experienced team.
  3. Opportunities for Professional Development – Access to training and career progression.
