Job summary

Santander UK is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Manager to lead regulatory reporting and horizon scanning within the Regulatory Engagement and Reporting team. The role requires strong FCA knowledge, SMCR oversight, and excellent stakeholder engagement to manage compliance risk and governance across the business.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Compliance, Risk or Regulatory environment.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, SMCR, regulatory reporting and risk management.
• Experience in regulatory change management, horizon scanning and regulatory engagement.
• Proven people management experience; able to lead, coach and develop others.
• A compliance qualification or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for general compliance, regulatory reporting and horizon scanning.
• Lead SMCR compliance processes with governance records.
• Develop horizon scanning framework for emerging regulatory changes.
• Coordinate regulatory change activity, tracking and implementation.
• Prepare and submit regular and ad hoc regulatory reports with governance and approvals.
• Produce MI and reporting for senior management and governance forums.
• Support responses to regulatory requests, reviews and investigations.
• Maintain compliance risk profiles and ensure effective mitigations.
