Job summary

Cisco’s Webex Engineering Group in London is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the design, deployment, and operation of Kubernetes-based microservices, delivering reliability and scalable deployments in a hybrid work environment.

You will drive GitOps workflows with Argo CD, use Helm and Vault for secure configurations, and collaborate with product teams to enhance performance across Webex Meetings, Calling, and Contact Center in a dynamic tech landscape.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development or site reliability roles.
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical subject or equivalent experience.
• Strong Kubernetes and microservices experience.
• Proficient in GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own design, implementation, and operation of Kubernetes-based microservices.
• Drive canary releases, automated testing, and rollback strategies.
• Ensure secure, scalable deployments with Vault and secret management.
• Improve observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate across teams to drive reliability and performance.
