Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Global Sourcing team seeks a Sr. Manager in Site Procurement to lead sourcing at manufacturing sites in the US and Canada. You will shape site strategies, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and drive performance and cost savings with cross-functional partners.

You will develop inflation-mitigation plans, manage supplier escalations, and mentor Advisors while ensuring alignment with site leadership on timelines and objectives. Travel 10-15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sourcing/procurement or related field.
• Results oriented with proven execution experience.
• Negotiation experience preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of category management, cost drivers and market dynamics preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects cross-functionally.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills across a global landscape.
• Financial acumen to interpret data and drive value.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Travel 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier escalations and assure supply, pricing accuracy and AP.
• Lead and develop a team of Advisors in the US and Canada.
• Coordinate VIP pipeline alignment meetings and report status.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and RFx processes.
• Create site-specific inflation mitigation plans and negotiate favorable terms.
• Support supplier negotiations and due diligence.
• Conduct supplier discovery and risk assessments.
• Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and leverage scale.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimize performance and innovation.
• Review contract requirements to align terms with strategy.
• Support supplier selection with manufacturing and quality teams.
• Drive supplier performance via dashboards and metrics.
• Represent sourcing at site QBRs and budget discussions.
