Job summary

Fluor is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to lead a major Operations and Management contract, requiring TS/SCI clearance and strong experience in project controls, safety, and cross-discipline coordination across design, procurement, and construction teams. You will report to the Program Director, oversee PMO operations, manage staffing, client relations, and ensure timely reporting, cost control, and schedule performance in a dynamic environment.

Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent; 8+ years related experience, or 12+ years if no degree
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Ability to manage multiple disciplines: construction, maintenance, procurement, plant operations
• Strong knowledge of contract requirements and project controls
• Excellent communication with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Understand Fluor prime contract and subcontracts
• Ensure HSE requirements are emphasized throughout the project
• Oversee maintenance, modification, and outage activities per contract
• Coordinate across design, procurement, material management, and construction
• Maintain client relations to support cooperation and timely payment
• Oversee PMO reporting, change control, and project reviews
• Assist the Program Director in defining staffing and organizational needs
• Support cost and schedule management and performance tracking
• Mentor Fluor personnel and develop project staff
