Job summary

Synergy Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Senior Site Manager / Senior Construction Manager for a major £160m+ student accommodation project in Southampton. The role focuses on delivering the scheme from inception to completion, leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors on a high-profile construction site.

You will ensure programme performance, safety excellence and quality, while working closely with the client and project stakeholders to drive delivery through to 2029.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering large-scale construction projects for major UK contractors.
• Proven ability to lead site teams, manage resources and coordinate subcontractors.
• Strong focus on health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, control and coordinate the site through to safe completion.
• Monitor safety, quality and progress against the programme and budgets.
• Lead weekly meetings and report progress, risks and actions.
• Coordinate with client, consultants, and wider project stakeholders.
• Coach and develop site team members and subcontractors.
