Job summary

Kier Construction seek a Site Manager for HMP Glasgow project in Glasgow. You will join the project delivery team to oversee safe and successful construction of a large 2-storey steel frame building valued at £40M.

The role requires prior management experience in major construction, strong technical understanding, and commitment to health and safety. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications, plus a full driving licence, are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct sub-contractor partners to safely deliver work packages including groundworks, drainage, structural frame erection, roofing, cladding, interior fit out and finishings
• Ensure quality is maintained to Kier standards via supervision of sub-contractors and staff on site
• Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe working methods
• Coordinate site logistics, plant and labour movements with safety as a priority
• Create, log and file site reports and paperwork accurately and promptly
