Job summary

Orchard Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager (Number 1) in Ingoldmells to lead the construction site on a permanent basis. You will manage onsite teams, coordinate with external partners and the Sales team, and ensure delivery of the build programme to our client’s standards.

Must have prior site management on high-volume housing developments, driving licence, and strong knowledge of build programmes. Offers include a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on high-volume new build housing sites.
• Ability to manage labour-only groundworkers and subcontractors.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of construction programme planning and delivery.
• Commercial awareness and customer service focus.
• Knowledge of NHBC and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage development to deliver build programme within budgets and forecasts to the client standard.
• Full control of site staff and subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with head office, NHBC and local authorities.
• Order materials to maintain the build programme.
• Ensure NHBC inspections are carried out as required.
• Carry out handover inspections to customers.
• Address customer care defects promptly with the team.
• Promote a culture of safety, progress, quality and innovation.
