Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for specialist refurbishment and fit-out projects across the Midlands, including MRI, CT and diagnostic imaging facilities in NHS hospitals and private healthcare environments.

You will manage day-to-day delivery, ensure safety, programme adherence and high-quality workmanship while coordinating subcontractors and suppliers. Travel across sites in the Midlands is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in construction, refurbishment or fit-out.
• Experience delivering projects in live/occupied environments.
• Healthcare refurbishment experience is advantageous.
• Strong subcontractor management & programme coordination.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality workmanship.
• Willingness to travel across the Midlands.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid at Work and Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all site activities from start to finish and handover.
• Oversee subcontractors, trades and suppliers to maintain progress.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and company procedures.
• Manage refurbishment works within live hospital environments with minimal disruption.
• Liaise with hospital estates, project managers, clients and equipment suppliers.
• Monitor programmes, progress and quality standards.
• Maintain site documentation, RAMS, inductions and toolbox talks.
• Identify and resolve site issues to keep delivery on track.
• Oversee snagging, inspections and project handovers.
