Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a major external envelope package on a flagship hyperscale data centre project in East London. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will drive delivery, safety, and quality across complex façade works.

You will mentor Site Managers and coordinate with engineering, commercial and planning teams to achieve key milestones while ensuring adherence to design and technical requirements on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tier 1 principal contractor.
• Experience delivering major commercial projects £100m+.
• Extensive experience managing external envelope packages (cladding, façades, rainscreen, curtain walling).
• Strong understanding of façade installation, sequencing, QA and technical compliance.
• SMTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of complex façade and external envelope packages.
• Coordinating cladding, rainscreen, curtain walling and associated façade subcontractors.
• Driving programme performance while maintaining health, safety and quality standards.
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications and technical requirements.
• Working with engineering, commercial and planning teams to hit milestones.
• Managing site logistics, sequencing and interface coordination with internal trades.
• Building relationships with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
• Mentoring Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and supervisors and promoting best practice on site.
