RGB Recruitment is working with a leading main contractor to recruit a Senior Site Manager to join its Exeter team on a permanent basis. You will take charge of site operations across major schemes, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety standards and ensuring high-quality delivery.

The role requires a strong main contracting background, proven leadership, and the ability to drive projects from inception through handover, reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Senior Site Manager with main contractor background.
• Experience leading large-scale multimillion-pound projects as number one on site.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety legislation and programme management.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for site operations, ensuring safe delivery to programme and quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring efficient sequencing and resource management.
• Monitor construction programmes, identify delays and implement solutions to maintain progress.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality assurance and environmental compliance.
• Work with Project Manager and commercial team to manage costs, variations and project risks.
