We are seeking a Senior Site Manager to join our team within Alderley Group and Alderley Partnerships, based in Warrington. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of our construction projects.

About the Role:
As a Senior Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the practical aspects of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Health, Safety & Environment:
- Ensure compliance with responsibilities as laid down in the Group's Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Roles and Responsibilities, and ensure compliance from the site team.
- Carry out daily/weekly site inspections.
- Manage HS&E on the site continuously.
- Ensure all relevant HS&E paperwork and inspections are completed fully and on time.
- Accompany HS&E inspectors during site inspections.
- Keep the Construction Phase Health, Safety & Environment Plan (CPHSEP) and the Compliance Register up to date.
Leadership:
- Motivate, support, and guide the site team.
- Recognize and encourage excellent performance.
- Address sub-standard performance early through training, support, or disciplinary action as appropriate.
- Conduct annual appraisals where necessary.
- Create and manage a two-week programme, communicating it to the Assistant Site Manager, Trainee Site Assistant, and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely call-off of all materials.
- Coordinate subcontractors and utility companies.
- Maintain up-to-date progress records.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with schemes like Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), subcontractors, site representatives, Housing Associations, NHBC/Local Authority Building Control, suppliers, and utility companies.
- Maintain relationships with consultants, HSE, local authorities, and Environment Agency.
Finishing:
- Manage trades to ensure properties are finished to high standards.
- Oversee the maintenance of completed sites, including making good and final cleaning.
What You'll Need:
- Experience in building, construction, or maintenance roles.
- Ability to read and understand simple construction drawings, follow instructions, and execute tasks reliably.
- Certifications: CSCS Card, SMSTS.
- Own transport to and from sites is essential.
