Arc Partnership seeks a Senior Site Manager to ensure safe and profitable project delivery across Nottinghamshire. The role requires solid site management experience, strong communication skills, and a relevant construction qualification to manage diverse construction projects efficiently.
Arc Partnership is a joint venture between Nottinghamshire CountyCouncil and SCAPE, formed in 2016 to support the council in creating anefficient, safe, and sustainable land and property portfolio. Creatingmeaningful change by creating value for money, quality output and customerexcellence to support regeneration and economic growth for Nottinghamshire.
We deliver multi-disciplinary services and consult, design, build, manage andmaintain on behalf of the council and the communities and people it represents.
Your new role:
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to managethe safe and profitable delivery of Arc Construction Services projects. You’llbe an integral part of the Arc Project Team, you’ll manage and coordinateprojects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completedto time, quality, within budget and within scope.

Our business unit delivers awide range of projects, including school refurbishments in live environments,boiler and roof replacements, traditional extensions and installation ofmodular buildings.

What you’ll do
· Contribute to, develop,manage and deliver the site delivery plans for your allocated projects toensure that they are delivered within the agreed programme and achieve thedesired outcomes.
· Ensure that deliveryplans / programmes are provided for allocated sites and that they are activelymonitored and managed.
· Oversee day to daymanagement of operations on-site, ensuring that the project is brought to asuccessful completion and meets the programme, budget, brief and qualityconstraints.
· Effectively communicatewith the Design Team to ensure the timely release of design information.
· Ensure that sites areproactively managed in a safe manner in accordance with the Arc Health andSafety procedures and agree the requirements for managing multiple sitesoperating in parallel to each other.
· Understand and take anactive interest in the commercial outcomes of the project by close working withthe QS to ensure that costs and the supply chain are adequately controlled.
· Ensure that all aspectsof the project are carried out in accordance with statutory requirements.
· Make safety inspectionsand ensure construction and site safety.
· Plan and efficientlyorganise the site set up and logistics.
· Where appropriate followthe business templates for using NEC contractual forms and trackers with theProject team so that the information flow and any changes are managedefficiently.
What you’ll bring:
We’re looking for people who have a solidfoundation in Site Management, but want to be part of a bigger team, and get towork on a variety of projects where you can drive change and make a difference.
· Extensive relevant site management / projectconstruction delivery experience within a construction contractingbusiness
· A broad understanding of the design processand the challenges to get a project to site
· CIOB Level 4 Certificate in Construction SiteManagement or equivalent.
· Broad demonstrable knowledge of NEC forms inthe context of change control on site and the provision of project clarificationswith the design team and subcontractors.
· Strong construction, commercial, andsupply-chain management skills.
· Excellent oral and written communicationskills to effectively present technical information, present arguments toinfluence and persuade audiences with different backgrounds and levels ofunderstanding.
· You’ll need to have a full driving licence,with business insurance.
