The CompanyA is a rapidly-growing, well-respected Main Contractor operating from a network of regional offices throughout the UK. The business has built a fantastic reputation within the industry and is now looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager to work with the site-based delivery team on upcoming projects. Ideally, they are seeking someone with a background in new build construction and experience managing M&E packages. They have established their reputation by delivering a personalized service, adapting their approach to each client.

This approach has enabled them to grow annually, strengthening their presence in the industry. Operating across multiple sectors, their projects include Commercial, Industrial, Retail, and Mixed-Use schemes, with project values ranging from £10m to £50m.

The Role

The role is part of the site management team, focusing on ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will assist the Project Manager with the daily operations of the site and managing subcontractors. Typical responsibilities include:

1. Managing M&E packages and subcontractors daily.
2. Ensuring programme deadlines are met.
3. Helping contractors understand the project schedule.
4. Ensuring all operations comply with health and safety standards, including reviewing method statements and risk assessments.
5. Conducting toolbox talks, health & safety training, site inductions, and ongoing site training.
6. Maintaining high standards of quality in all works.
7. Assessing the quality of work at various stages.
