Amcogiffen is seeking an experienced Supervisor / General Foreman to join our civil engineering team in the Western region, covering Portishead, Pill and Bristol projects. You will manage groundworks and highway works on site, coordinate traffic management and utility diversions, and lead site teams to deliver works safely and on programme.
The role requires SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and a proven ability to work in live environments with stakeholders.
Competenze
- Proven experience in civil engineering supervision
- Strong groundworks/highways background
- Experience with traffic management and utility diversions
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary site teams
- SSSTS/SMSTS certification and CSCS card
Mansioni
- Supervise groundworks and highway works on site
- Coordinate traffic management activities
- Oversee utility diversion works with service providers
- Ensure delivery to programme and design specifications
- Lead direct labour and subcontractors
- Maintain health, safety, quality and environmental standards
- Monitor progress and report to Site Agent
- Manage trade packages and cross-discipline coordination
- Maintain accurate site records and logs
- Drive continuous improvement and right-first-time site operations
