Involve Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a hands-on General Foreman to lead highway and groundworks teams across Bristol and North Somerset. You will coordinate crews, plant, and subcontractors, ensuring works meet drawings and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has proven site supervision experience in civil engineering, SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, and a strong focus on progress and documentation on live highway schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as General Foreman or Site Supervisor in civil engineering (highways/groundworks).
• Strong groundworks and highways experience.
• Experience coordinating utility diversions with providers.
• Experience on traffic management/live highway environments.
• Ability to lead direct labour and subcontractors across multiple fronts.
• Good understanding of HSEQ requirements and site documentation.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• CSCS card.

Responsabilités

• Lead hands-on site team to deliver planned works safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate crews, plant, subcontractors, and utilities to meet drawings/specifications.
• Monitor progress, maintain site records, and resolve issues to keep programmes.
• Work closely with a Site Agent to keep projects on programme.
