Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals seeks a Senior Site Engineer to lead on-site delivery of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System projects in the UK. You will oversee civil, electrical, and mechanical workstreams, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.

You will review engineering drawings, manage RFIs, and drive site inspections through to handover, while maintaining QA/QC and HSE standards within a fast-paced renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of site engineering or construction experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams in renewables or large projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for on-site delivery from construction to handover.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical workstreams and interfaces.
• Review drawings, specs, ITPs and construction deliverables for quality.
• Lead site inspections, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Maintain QA/QC, HSE compliance and safe systems of work.
