Job summary

Sphere Solutions are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a large-scale residential groundworks and civil works project. You will ensure accurate setting-out, align works to drawings and specifications, and maintain QA records throughout construction.

The role requires strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving on site. You will collaborate with Site Managers, contractors and the wider project team to keep the programme on track and ensure health and safety standards are upheld

Qualifications

• CSCS card valid and in-date.
• Experience as Site Engineer on large residential developments or housing schemes.
• Strong ability to set out and survey from drawings and specifications.
• Ability to coordinate with site management and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out setting-out duties across a large residential project.
• Ensuring works align with drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Setting out foundations, drainage runs, roads, kerbs and levels.
• Checking line, level, position and dimensions for accuracy.
• Maintaining site records, surveys and QA documentation.
• Supporting inspections and ensuring works meet quality standards.
