Job summary

The Labour Group is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in the civil sector. You will lead site setting out, ensure works align with drawings and specs, and monitor QA processes.

You will support junior engineers, coordinate subcontractors, review RFIs, maintain as-builts and ITPs, and contribute to programme planning while upholding health and safety standards. Experience with RC frames and strong surveying skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Strong experience on RC frame or civil engineering projects.
• Proven setting-out and technical drawing skills.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and QA.
• Confident with surveying equipment, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lead and support junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead site setting out.
• Ensure works meet drawings, specifications and tolerances.
• Review construction information and manage RFIs.
• Support Site Engineers and coordinate subcontractors.
• Maintain as-builts, QA records and ITPs.
• Support programme planning and monitor progress.
• Maintain high health, safety and quality standards.
