Job summary

CSR Group is recruiting an experienced Senior Site Engineer for their Belfast site on high-profile contracts across the UK & Ireland. You will be responsible for setting out works, RAMS, QA oversight, and coordinating subcontractors to ensure work aligns with contract drawings and specifications.

You will oversee site labour, implement safety procedures, generate progress reports, and manage programme look-ahead with the supply chain. A van/fuel allowance or car allowance is included.

Qualifications

• 5 years previous experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrable experience in setting out large scale contracts.
• SMSTS training and First aid certification are desirable.
• Valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will have a wide and varied remit making full use of their experience and skills.
• Ensure all site activities are undertaken in compliance with the clients SHEQ policies and procedures
• Ensure RAMS are in place for all work and supervise direct site labour and subcontractors
• Coordinate sub-contract packages and ensure works meet contract drawings and specifications
• Produce RAMS for direct labour and approve RAMS for other elements of the work
• Develop and communicate the project programme and look-ahead in collaboration with the supply chain
• Chair progress meetings and produce weekly/monthly progress reports
• Maintain accurate daily records for labour, materials and plant
