Job summary

3D Personnel is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the Site Manager on a central London construction project. You will act as the main technical adviser on site for groundworks and the concrete frame, performing setting out, leveling and surveying, and coordinating temporary works with specialist subcontractors.

The role requires a Degree/HND in engineering, a current CSCS card, and 6+ years’ postgraduate experience, including setting out £10m+ structures.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in engineering or related discipline.
• CSR / CSCS Card required.
• Minimum of 6 years postgraduate experience.
• Experience setting out £10m+ structures.
• Ability to read reinforcement drawings.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Senior Engineer

Location:

Central London

Responsibilities as Site Engineer include

• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations as required.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on site for specialist subcontractors, including groundworks and concrete frame contractor.
• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, temporary works co–ordination.
• Checking plans, drawings and setting out co–ordination.
• Prior knowledge of calling off reinforcement from schedules and ability to read reinforcement drawings.
• Detailed record keeping of QA inspections on a daily/weekly basis were required.
• Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.

Requirements:

• A Degree / HND in engineering or other relevant discipline.
• A current valid CSR / CSCS Card.
• A minimum of 6 years postgraduate experience.
• Previous experience of setting out £10m+ structures.
• Previous experience of calling off reinforcement and ability to read reinforcement drawings.
• Operational knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results.
• IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD.
• Flexibility with regards to site location within the UK & Ireland.
