Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to work with Energy on the Electricity Transmission Project in Minety. Based out of our Cardiff office initially, with site travel required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Construction or Civil Engineering projects.
• Experience within ITPs, RAMs & Temporary Works.
• Excellent knowledge of current civil engineering legislation as well as Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Ability to discuss engineering issues with people across various levels and disciplines.
• Ability to produce, implement and manage safe systems of work for construction procedures.

Aufgaben

• Establish and promote best practice in health, safety and environmental matters.
• Assist with temporary works design schemes.
• Maintain good working relations with client / designer / Team and supply chain.
• Advise engineers on setting out methods and techniques.
• Ensure drawings and specs contain sufficient information for construction; request missing info in time.
• Communicate with foremen and supervisors to ensure understanding of information.
• Oversee selection and requisition of materials and plant.
• Prepare written risk assessments and method statements for control of works.
• Keep a full daily site diary with changes, attendance and discussions.
• Ensure inspection and test plans are completed as required by PMP/Specification.
