Murphy is recruiting a Senior Site Engineer to work with the Energy Team on the ETP Project in Cardiff. The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient site activities and leading engineering teams across the project lifecycle.

You will promote best practice in health, safety and environmental matters, oversee temporary works and ITPs, and ensure accurate drawings and documentation for construction. Collaborative engagement across stakeholders is essential.

Competenze

• Experience in Construction or Civil Engineering projects.
• Experience within ITPs, RAMs & Temporary Works.
• Excellent knowledge of civil engineering legislation and Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Ability to discuss engineering issues with people across levels and disciplines.
• Ability to produce, implement and manage safe systems of work for construction procedures.

Mansioni

• Establish and promote best practice in health, safety and environmental matters on the ETP Project in Cardiff.
• Assist with temporary works design schemes.
• Maintain good working relations with client, designer, team and supply chain.
• Advise engineers on setting out methods and techniques.
• Ensure drawings and specifications contain sufficient, accurate information for construction; request missing info as needed.
• Communicate with foremen and supervisors to ensure understanding of information.
• Oversee selection and requisition of materials and plant for construction.
• Prepare written risk assessments and method statements for works control.
• Keep a full and accurate daily site diary of changes, attendance and discussions.
• Ensure inspection and test plans are completed as required by PMP/Specification.
