Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Planner to join the Energy Team on the ETP Framework based in Aberthaw. You will prepare resourced programmes and manage project documentation while coordinating with estimators, design engineers and the planning community.

Ideal candidates have civil engineering experience, familiarity with P6, TILOS and QSRA, and a strong ability to apply planning techniques to tendering and contract delivery. Murphy offers generous benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience within Civil Engineering / Construction, preferably within Water.
• Use of planning software such as P6, TILOS, QSRA.
• Active experience with planning techniques for tendering and contract delivery.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a resourced programme, ensuring conformance with expectations.
• Contribute to the risk register and perform programme risk analysis.
• Prepare visual material in aid of planned methods.
• Manage project documentation in an orderly fashion.
• Provide a link between all parties regarding planning information.
• Define methods and outputs with estimators and the team, including supply chain when needed.
• Liaise with design engineers to establish a design brief for temporary works.
• Provide the estimator with justified schedules of temporary works and indirect costs.
• Advise project team on feedback reports and support.
