Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting a Senior Site Engineer for a major construction project in Middlesbrough within the data centre and energy sectors. The role focuses on leading setting-out and site engineering within a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in site engineering, CSCS, SMSTS and Temporary Works qualifications, and a proactive focus on health, safety and quality. You will work with the Project Manager and site teams to deliver safely, on time and to specification.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' practical construction experience.
• Strong site engineering and setting-out experience.
• Experience on major construction, infrastructure, data centre or energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering and setting-out support.
• Monitor on-site progress and quality of works.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs and programme requirements.
• Prepare RAMS, ITPs and quality documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers, site records and as-built information.
• Identify and report technical issues and non-conformances.
